Description

Edit

Valsera is a small locality in the municipality of Las Regueras, in Asturias, on the Camino Primitivo route descending toward Grado. The settlement occupies valley terrain between the elevated approaches and the Nalón river valley, in the enclosed green landscape of central Asturias.

The surrounding terrain has the humid Atlantic character of the Asturian interior, with dense pasture, mixed woodland, and the stone farmhouses of traditional settlement. Valsera is one of several small communities on the descent from the Oviedo basin ridge toward the first major service stop at Grado.
