Teiguin

Teiguín is a small locality in the province of Lugo, Galicia, on the Samos northern route variant of the Camino Frances following the Oribio river valley between Samos and Sarria. The hamlet has a compact stone character in the river corridor woodland.

The surrounding terrain is the enclosed river valley of the Oribio, with oak and chestnut woodland covering the slopes and the river running close to the path. The lush, green quality of the Galician valley is pronounced here, the Atlantic moisture keeping the vegetation dense throughout the year.

For pilgrims on the Samos route, Teiguín is a passage point in the pleasant river valley corridor before the routes from Triacastela reunite at Sarria.
