La Bolguina

La Bolguina is a small locality in Asturias on the Camino Primitivo route between Oviedo and Grado. The settlement has a dispersed farmstead character in the enclosed green valley terrain typical of the central Asturian interior, with the humid Atlantic climate maintaining dense vegetation throughout the year.

The surrounding landscape combines pasture meadows, mixed oak and eucalyptus woodland, and the scattered stone farmhouses with hórreo granaries that characterise rural Asturias. The route descends gradually from the Oviedo basin toward the Nalón river valley on the approach to Grado.
