Guitiza

Guitiza is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the inland Camino route between Baamonde and the Cistercian monastery of Sobrado dos Monxes. The settlement has a quiet agricultural character in the enclosed green valley terrain of the A Coruña interior, with traditional stone farmhouses and hórreo granaries distributed across the gentle slopes.

The route through Guitiza passes through the pastoral and forested plateau of interior Galicia on the long stage between the junction at Baamonde and the celebrated monastery stop at Sobrado dos Monxes.
