Xurarantes

Xurarantes is a small locality in the municipality of Muxía, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia. It sits in the coastal hinterland of the Costa da Morte between Muxía and the western edge of the Dumbría plateau, in terrain that transitions between the open moorland of the interior and the coastal cliff and dune landscape of the Atlantic shore.

The surrounding landscape has the Atlantic heath character typical of the outer Costa da Morte: gorse, heather, and the occasional stand of eucalyptus or pine, with wide views toward the ocean. The locality lies on or near the route between Muxía and the alternative paths toward Fisterra.
