Villuir

Villuir is a small locality in the municipality of Valdés, in Asturias, situated in the hillside terrain west of Luarca on the Camino del Norte route toward Navia. The settlement has a dispersed rural character embedded in the humid Atlantic landscape of western Asturias, with enclosed green pasture, mixed woodland, and the coastal cliffs accessible to the north.

The surrounding terrain is typical of the western Asturian coast hinterland: gently undulating hills covered in dense grass and oak woodland, with stone farmhouses and hórreo granaries distributed across the slopes. The route from Luarca westward passes through this pastoral corridor before reaching the Navia estuary.
