Gabín

Gabín is a small locality in the province of Lugo, Galicia, on the Camino del Norte inland route between Villalba and Baamonde. The settlement has a dispersed farmstead character in the typical Lugo interior landscape of enclosed valleys, dairy cattle pasture, and mixed woodland.

The humid Atlantic climate maintains the intensely green quality of the surrounding hills throughout the year. The route from Villalba to Baamonde is one of the longer rural stages of the inland Camino del Norte, passing through a succession of small localities like Gabín before reaching the junction town of Baamonde.
