Frixe

Frixe is a small locality in the municipality of Muxía, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the coastal path between Muxía and Fisterra. The village occupies clifftop terrain on the exposed Atlantic coast of the Costa da Morte, where the shoreline alternates between sandy coves and rocky promontories.

The surrounding landscape is the raw Atlantic clifftop environment of the outer Costa da Morte: granite outcrops, coastal heath, and the ocean visible on the western horizon. The route between Muxía and Fisterra follows this cliff path closely, making it one of the more isolated and scenically dramatic walking sections in all of Galicia.
