Description
Cee is a town and municipality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, situated at the head of the Cee-Corcubión ría, a small Atlantic inlet on the Costa da Morte. The town has an industrial character associated with its paper mill and working harbour, which distinguishes it from the more purely fishing or tourist-oriented towns of the surrounding coastline.
The ría forms a sheltered inlet between Cee and Corcubión, the two towns facing each other across the water. For pilgrims on the Fisterra route, Cee provides full services at a significant moment: the first sight of the inner Atlantic coast after the long interior crossing from Santiago.
