Arrifana

Arrifana is a parish in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, in the Aveiro district of northern Portugal. It occupies gently rolling terrain between forested hillsides and the lowland corridor leading into the Porto district.

The settlement has a dispersed residential character, with stone farmhouses spread across a landscape of eucalyptus plantation and smallholdings. Its proximity to larger urban centres in the Oliveira de Azeméis belt means it functions partly as a suburban satellite while retaining a rural texture.

The Camino Português passes through Arrifana in a transitional zone between the quieter agricultural interior and the increasingly urbanised corridor approaching Porto.
