Anceis

Anceis is a small locality in the municipality of Cambre, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino Inglés route between A Coruña and Betanzos. The settlement has a quiet rural character in the enclosed green valley terrain of the Cambre area, where the route follows the hills above the Mero river valley.

The surrounding landscape is the typical A Coruña coast interior: dairy pasture on the valley floors, mixed oak and eucalyptus woodland on the steeper slopes, and the traditional Galician stone farmhouses and hórreo granaries that characterise the rural settlement pattern.
