Descripción
Alféloas is a rural parish within the municipality of Anadia in the Aveiro district of central Portugal. Like many of the small settlements along this corridor, it occupies flat to gently undulating terrain on the inland edge of the Bairrada region, where vineyards give way to mixed cultivation of cereals, vegetables, and fruit trees.
The settlement has a dispersed layout typical of these inland parishes, with farmhouses and small agricultural plots arranged loosely rather than in a dense village core. A simple parish church serves as the community’s focal point.
Alféloas sits close to the line of the Camino Português as it threads northward through the Aveiro district, placing it in the broader network of small communities that collectively define the rural character of this section of the route.
