Nogaro

Nogaro is a commune in the Gers department, situated on the Via Podiensis between Manciet and Aire-sur-l’Adour. The town has a modest historic centre with the Romanesque church of Saint-Nicolas, whose twelfth-century apse is one of the better-preserved examples of early Romanesque architecture in the Gers.

Nogaro is also known for the Circuit Paul Armagnac, a motor racing facility on the town edge. The surrounding landscape is the Bas-Armagnac zone with vine, pine forest, and sandy terrain transitioning toward the Landes.
