Miño

Miño is a municipality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, situated on the northern shore of the Betanzos ría where the Mandeo and Mendo rivers meet the Bay of Biscay. The municipality is known for its beach, one of the more popular on the A Coruña coast, and for the ferry service across the ría to Pontedeume.

The Camino Inglés passes through the Miño municipality or close to it on the route between Pontedeume and Betanzos, either taking the coastal path or the inland route. The estuarine setting, with the wide ría and the wooded hillsides framing the water, gives Miño a distinctive landscape character.
