Villarmentero de Campos

Villarmentero de Campos is a small municipality in the province of Palencia, Castilla y León, situated on the Camino Frances in the Tierra de Campos between Población de Campos and Villalcázar de Sirga. The village has a quiet agricultural character with stone farmhouses on the flat wheat plain.

The surrounding landscape is the characteristic Palencia Campos: flat, wide, and dominated by cereal crops and the expansive sky. The village lies on a minor path slightly off the main canal corridor, providing a quieter alternative to the towpath route.
