Trasufre

Trasufre is a small locality in the municipality of Dumbría, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino de Fisterra route in the final interior stages before the coast. The name may derive from a local topographic or etymological root related to the terrain.

The locality sits in the heath and scrub landscape of the Costa da Morte interior, in the terrain that the Fisterra route crosses on its final approach toward the sea. The surrounding moorland has an open, windswept character typical of the Atlantic-facing interior of this part of Galicia.
