Pregontoño

Pregontoño is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino Frances between Arzúa and O Pedrouzo. The hamlet has a quiet agricultural character in the enclosed green terrain west of Arzúa.

The surrounding landscape combines oak and eucalyptus woodland with the green pasture and rolling terrain typical of the final A Coruña stages. The path here passes through a series of small farmstead clusters in an enclosed, pastoral corridor.

For pilgrims, Pregontoño is a passage point on the penultimate stage of the Camino Frances, the enclosed woodland path providing a quiet rural context on the approach to O Pedrouzo.
