Description
Neda is a municipality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, situated on the southern shore of the inner Ría de Ferrol. The town has a long-standing reputation for its pan de Neda, a distinctive local bread characterised by its soft interior and golden crust, which has been baked here for centuries and is now a protected traditional product.
The church of Santa María de Neda is a Gothic structure with significant medieval fabric, making it one of the more architecturally notable parish churches on the Camino Inglés. The ría setting, with the water visible from the town centre, gives Neda a compact waterfront character.
