A Rúa (Ordes)

A Rúa is a small locality in the municipality of Ordes, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino Inglés route between the Hospital de Bruma junction and Sigüeiro. The name means the street, the Galician rúa, one of the most basic settlement toponyms that indicates a village that developed along a single principal street or road.

The locality has a modest rural and semi-residential character in the rolling green landscape of the Ordes municipal area, which forms part of the agricultural interior corridor connecting the A Coruña coast hinterland with the approaches to Santiago.
