Vilamor de Abaixo

Vilamor de Abaixo is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, the lower of two settlements sharing the Vilamor name, on the Camino route approaching Melide. The de Abaixo designation places it below the upper counterpart in the valley terrain.

The surrounding landscape is the enclosed green valley country of the western Galician corridor, with dairy cattle pasture, mixed woodland, and traditional farmsteads. The locality falls on the final approach to Melide, where the Camino del Norte and Camino Francés converge.
