Rente

Rente is a small locality in the municipality of Sarria, Lugo, Galicia, on the Camino Frances between Barbadelo and Peruscallo. The hamlet has a quiet farmstead character in the enclosed green Galician valley terrain.

The path here passes through a pleasant agricultural corridor with oak woodland on the slopes and green pasture in the valley. Traditional stone farmhouses and hórreo granaries are distributed across the hillside in the dispersed pattern typical of Galician rural settlement.

For pilgrims, Rente is a quiet passage point on the first stages after Sarria, the green enclosed character of the terrain typical of what pilgrims will experience for the remaining stages toward Santiago.
