English Way Routes Intersect

Description

Edit

The Camino Inglés has two main starting points in Galicia: Ferrol in the north and A Coruña on the Atlantic coast. Both routes follow separate corridors through the A Coruña interior before converging at a junction point, after which pilgrims travel a shared path to Santiago de Compostela.

The convergence is not marked by a monument but by the simple topography of the route network, where the two paths join and the combined flow of pilgrims continues south. For pilgrims who began in either city, this junction represents the first moment of meeting the other branch of the route and the beginning of the shared final stretch.
