Descripción
Sergude is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino Inglés route between Cambre and Betanzos. The name is an archaic Galician toponym of uncertain origin. The settlement has a quiet agricultural character in the enclosed green valley landscape typical of the A Coruña coast interior.
The surrounding terrain combines dairy cattle pasture on the valley floors with oak and eucalyptus woodland on the steeper slopes, and the traditional Galician stone farmhouses and hórreo granaries typical of this part of the province.
