Senande

Senande is a civil parish in the municipality of Dumbría, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia. It occupies the plateau farming terrain of the Costa da Morte interior, in the section of the Fisterra route that crosses open agricultural and forested landscape before the final coastal descent.

The parish has a modest traditional character without significant historic monuments, set in a landscape of smallholder cultivation, eucalyptus plantation, and the stone farmhouse clusters typical of rural Galicia. The route passes through or near Senande on the approach to the final coastal stages of the Fisterra walk.
