Rapote

Rapote is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino de Fisterra and Muxía routes in the interior west of Negreira. The settlement is modest and without significant infrastructure, set in the rolling agricultural landscape typical of this section of the Galician interior.

The surrounding terrain has the open, cultivated character of the Galician plateau, with maize, pasture, and the characteristic stone farmhouse and hórreo combinations that give this part of the Fisterra route its rural rhythm. The route here passes through a succession of small hamlets separated by open farmland and patches of eucalyptus forest.
