Labruge

Labruge is a civil parish in the municipality of Vila do Conde, in the Porto district, situated on the Atlantic coast between the outer Porto suburbs and the town of Vila do Conde. The village occupies coastal terrain where low dunes, scrub vegetation, and the Atlantic shoreline define the landscape.

The coastal Camino Português variant passes through Labruge along the clifftop or beachfront path, making it one of the first fully maritime stages of the route for pilgrims who have chosen the coastal alternative after leaving Porto. The open sea views and salt air mark a clear transition from the urban and suburban inland sections.
