Polígono Tambre

Polígono Tambre is an industrial estate on the Tambre river in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the final approach to Santiago de Compostela on the Camino Inglés. The industrial park occupies the Tambre river valley floor south of the city and represents the transition from the rural Galician interior to the urban and industrial fringe of Santiago.

For pilgrims on the Camino Inglés, the Polígono Tambre is one of the final markers before the historic city centre becomes visible and the route enters the medieval streets of Santiago. The industrial zone is quickly traversed on the final approach along the Sarela river corridor.
