Igrexa

Igrexa is a small locality in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, on the Camino Inglés route west of Pontedeume. The name is simply the Galician word for church, iglesia, one of the most direct settlement toponyms found across Galicia where a parish church was the defining feature of a dispersed rural community.

The setting is the enclosed green valley landscape of the A Coruña coast hinterland, with the typical combination of dairy pasture, mixed woodland, and traditional stone farmhouses and hórreos.
