Descripción
Vilaserio is a small locality in the municipality of Santa Comba, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia. The parish church of San Xulián de Vilaserio is a Romanesque building with architectural fabric dating to the twelfth or thirteenth century, making it one of the more historically significant ecclesiastical structures on the Camino de Fisterra route west of Santiago.
The church retains its basic Romanesque form, with a plain nave, a semicircular apse, and carved details at the portal and capitals. The surrounding parish has the typical mixed agricultural and pastoral landscape of the Galician interior plateau.
